Hi, My sister has an ACF froglet and the first few weeks she got it, it was swimming around eating and was looking healthy but the past few weeks she spends lots of time floating around at the top of the tank, her skin colour was kind of splotchy and her fingers look odd, she also has new medium sized bumps on some parts of her body, we are going to clean the tank tomorrow and see if that helps, if you have any ideas let me know, thank you!
Please answer the following questions and provide pics so we can try and figure out the issue, thank you !
1. Size of tank
2. # of inhabitants - specifically other frogs and size differences
4. Temperature
5. Water - type -
6. Materials used for substrate
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv.
8. Main food source
10. Lighting
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the water
12. When is the last time he/she ate
13. Have you found poop lately
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and tank (any including cell phone pic is fine)
15. How old is the frog
16. How long have you owned him/her
18. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats
20. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area
21. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc)

Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Pictures would help. Their coloration does change as they get older (usually become darker, mine started to get freckles on their bellies) and the 'weirdness' on the hands could be the forming of nuptial pads which males develop as they sexually mature.
If they feel safe and secure they will spend a good amount of time basking near the surface, usually with only their nostrils and eyes exposed above the water. This is normally how they rest when they know that no predators are afoot.
The bumps could very easily be their lateral line sensory organs, they look much like stitches around their body. They allow the frog to 'feel' movement in the water and are used for hunting in the murky waters they inhabit in the wild, which have almost no visibility.
Assuming your tank is a minimum of 10 US gallons, is properly filtered and is kept 68F-72F and the frog is eating and active and is of a healthy weight (plump but not fat) then all should be well.
One of my 1 year frogs 'basking', pretty normal behavior. You'll notice the belly is now speckled, used to be whiter.
