Update On Tubby!!

Well Tubby went to the vets Thursday. He has a lip infection. A scratch on the inside of his mouth caused it. The vet said the best thing to do in his situation is to let his body take care of it. He said he could give him meds for it but it could do more harm than good. He said he could also make a slit to get the infection out but it will do damage because its on his lip. He would have moth problems. So the infection will heal on its own in 2-3 weeks. He said to remove all bark, moss, and branches from his tank and to put paper towels and fish decoration(like fake plants and etc.) until his lip is fully healed. I also got scolded for having crickets in his tank with him. I guess crickets will bite the frog and it saliva will slowly kill my frog over time so they can eat him The funny part was when the vet flipped my Grey Tree Frog upside down, he sucked in his hind legs and his hands. And soon as the vet was feeling his belly his legs and hands shot out and he was kicking and slapping the vets hand. It was so cute. The vet said my frog wanted to box.

he is doing great. he has his appitie back and he is green now. which is weird.
