hi... so i have had a green tree frog for a few months now and she is still only like 1 inch and she is in a 5 gallon (i think it's bigger then 5 though) and it is like a half a hexagon... i need to find something to put into it that will provide enough climbing room and enough air room. PLEASE HELP!!!![]()
Welcome to FF Jaret! Recommend you check out the 12Lx12Wx18H inch glass with mesh top enclosure by ExoTerra or Zoo Med. An 18x18x24 might be a better bet for 1-2 adults but your frog is very small still. If you search within the forum for "Green Tree Frog" will find more threads and some will picture other members enclosures. Should read this if interested in having a false bottom on set-up: Frog Forum - Red-Eyed Leaf Frog/Red Eyed Tree Frog Care - Agalychnis callidryas and here is a care article for your frog: The basic care of the green tree frog. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Hi jaretc,
If you could post a photo of the existing enclosure, we would be able to help you more from there!
"enough climbing room" ---- looking through member's albums is a way to get some great ideas.
Keep it simple until you are comfortable 'branching out'
BTW- welcome to FF
