Springtails? They will hang out on the surface of water and can hop around pretty quick.

If so, they're useful in a vivarium to breakdown waste, some people will even add them to their tanks for this purpose (and as food items for wee frogs).

I dont know i cant really tell what they are do you think they are they are like microscopic. Yeah i know spring tails are good but i thought they were bigger not so small these are like specs of dust almost

They come in various sizes, small, really small, and even smaller. That doesn't rule something else out though.

Mosquito larva hang out below the surface of the water, and flop around in a disgusting way rather than a cute hopping action.
