i have a 29 gallon fish tank lightly stocked that im doing weekly 10gallon water changes on. Question: Can I use this old water for my frog or? The water is not high in ammonia if there is even any ammonia in it (doubt there is any) . What do u guys think
I wouldn't. That water is used. Would you feel comfortable drinking it? Why not just use fresh water and de-chlorinate it? cheap, simple, and safe.
Edit: changed recycled, for most of our tap water is recycled.
also your fish water may contain bacteria that may be harmful to your frogs especially if it sits a while more bacteria will form. Its just not a good idea.
agreed ^. To the OP, I hope my post did not come off as rude, I was simply just making a point, nothing against you or your husbandry. It never hurts to ask and i'm sure others will learn from your question as well.
Not safe.
