how often should I do a thorough cleaning of my wtf tank

Hey everyone

I just got 3 wtf about a week ago and I was wondering how often should I replace the coconut fiber on the bottom and clean everything inside?? I change the water everyday and do spot cleaning but how oftern should I remove the frogs and gut everything for a good cleaning thanks

I recommend daily spot cleaning of any poo :-)

and just using your nose if you don't still smell that same earthy
aroma from the coconut fiber (eco earth) then it might be a good time
for a replacement.

What I use to do is to put a non metallic screen down on top of the large gravel then put the eco earth on top of the screen
this keeps the eco earth from falling in between the drainage gravel.

to replace the eco earth I remove the frogs and put them in a large tupperware container with some treats (crickets)
and put them in the other room.

I use a small wet dry vac to suck up the old eco earth and rinse off the screen in dechlorinated water and put it back
and have a bucket near by with the new eco earth already moistened but not swampy and scoop in the new.
Replace the water dish and anything else I took out. double check everything and close the doors and wait 45min or so
to let the temp equalize and put the frogs back in and let them settle.

That is what I use to do but others may vary.
