Well, I'll keep it short and simple
Got a new tank, all techy info can be found on the APS (All Pond Solutions) website. My tank is a 200L cabinet tank with a in-lid filter (powerhead)
1) Got tank today, set everything up
2) Cleaned out tank
3) Filled with water to the top
4) Rinsed and cleaned sand, put it in bit by bit (very fine, and pure white)
5) Waited a few hours for sand to set and put some of my plants (hornwort)
Problem!
1)Since I've put in the plants, I've seen a lot of debris on the substrate, how normal is this? I understand this could be normal for new tanks and the like, but it is aesthetically unpleasing. Should my filter pick it all up or do I need to do it by hand everyday?
Picture Related, there are lots of these leaves floating around, most of it is on the substrate. Any tips/ideas/suggestions?
