    Default Pill bugs

So I was out by a river catching earthworms to feed my fire bellies, and I also caught some roly polys. Can I feed these to my frogs? I also caught these other worms (I think they are) and they are really small, they curl into a swirl when held and seem to have small antennae. I have no idea what they are

Pill bugs are a safe food, but you need to know if they are in a pesticide and fertilizer free area, and that they do not carry parasites.

Those are a species of millipede and recommend you do not feed them to frogs. Millipedes defense mechanism includes curling into a ball, emitting poisonous chemical secretions and hydrogen cyanide gas .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Oh, ok, good thing I didn't feed them to my frogs. They might have escaped, cause I emptied the container to clean the worms and they were gone... and also, I think I drowned the rest of my worms, I'm soo dumb, I put them in a tank with some shallow bottled water

Be careful to only use dechlorinated tap water or spring water with your fire bellies. Regular bottled water may have chlorine in it which is toxic to frogs.

Cut the worms into smaller pieces, such as 1" or so for your frogs.

Another tip for you...add some artificial plants for them to hide amongst to make them happy .
