So I know you should not house a frog with a different animal, but is there some kind of fine line? Usually it's species with species, but can it go up to genus? More specifically, can tree frogs that are similar size and require same temps be housed together?
Even within the same genus frogs are competitors that stress each other out. For every "successful" mixed frog habitat we read about... there are countless others that ended badly for the frogs.
What you do with your frogs is your choice; but sorry, there really are no fine lines Kareem! If you want to have more than one frog, suggest keep social species together by themselves in an appropriate sized enclosure.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thanks for your input.. But aren't most small tree frogs pretty laid back and not aggressive? My clown tree frogs are, and I was considering putting a green tree frog with th (NOT to be confused with a whites)
