Thanks everyone! It took about 8 months and I'm sure a professional could do it a lot faster, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. Biggest lesson learned - you can't use sanded grout. We learned this after putting about 3 or 4 coats on the rocks, so needless to say, there are several more layers of (unsanded) grout.
