Wild animals are really good at hiding their pain and suffering. The reason being those that are in obvious sign of distress are more likely to be picked off by predators. So, by the time they are showing them, it's because they are too sick or weak to hide it anymore.

, It just didn't occur to me that they could be in pain. Im thinking that if they were in too much pain they wouldn't want to eat.
