    Hi Josh
You need to remove the enclosure(s) away from the window---asap!

I have never owned a leopord frog -- but as far as I know:
    -borrowing is not unusual behavior
-he needs enough water to submerge his body
-and does not like bright light
-He is not a tree frog and should not live with the whites

Perhaps your whites was or is very stressed from being in the same enclosure?
It is especially important to maintain the proper setting for heat and humidity for your whites.

Replacing the gauges ( probe type) is very important! For both frog enclosures.
When you review the care sheets for both of the species of frogs you own, you will see they need different care.

I am starting a new thread and this is where I really could use some help. I am redoing the cage and I can use some advice on products and what is necessary to have an amazing cage for a stress free life for my frogs. I will have a whites tree frog farm

Tree Frogs are the masters of hiding. Trust me. When My Grey Tree Frog Tubby came up missing I was freaking out. I couldn't find him for hours. I have this grey fish decoration that the crickets hid in. The stupid frog squeezed himself in there ate ALL the crickets (2 dozen small) and was too big to get back out. Yeah he ate too much and couldn't get out so the little stinker was sitting inside the crickets bottle cap of water, waiting to be rescued. I had to break the bottom on the fish decoration to get him out. So now I leave that decoration out so he can't get stuck again. I still can't figure out how the little weasel got in there in the first place.

So glad you found him, he's a beautiful little guy! Like Lynn said there are times when I look everywhere for my frogs and they are right there in front of my face out in the open!

A tree frog burrowing can often mean the humidity is too low, the temperature is too low, or it is afraid and needs a place to hide. I have no experience with a big-eyed treefrog though. I understand they're from Africa, and for that reason alone I would not house it with a leopard frog.

Here's another care sheet for the fairly aquatic leopard frog Frog Forum - Leopard Frog Care - Rana pipiens (Schreber, 1782) and R. sphenocephala (1886)
