gotcha. i don't like the emitters personally. that's why i build all my tanks with false bottoms so i can use aquarium heaters. i would try the heating pad if i were in your situation.

yup, my 14/15w are set on stat at 28c and may reach 20 at a push, tho last night put one one either side and got it up to 24, but one either side is not a good idea i'm guessing.
