I would take him to a vet fast. It could be some sort of bacterial infection, have no idea.

Hopefully it's not a bone infection... That sounds like it could be very difficult to treat. Does it feel hard or squishy to the touch? If it's squishy it could be an infected cyst or something. The vet could drain that and give some antibiotics or something.

Bacterial infections (if that's what this is, I really don't know) can sometimes be unavoidable, but are often caused by housing that either stresses the frog and weakens its system or housing that is too wet and breeds bacteria. Can you give us some info on your setup/care/humidity/ect.?

Hello Josh and welcome to FF! Did you took the sick frog to veterinary? If so; what did vet said? Your frog should be moved to a cleaned set-up "hospital" or you should convert enclosure to one (water dish, hide-out, and 4 layers of damp towel for substrate). Also, please try to answer these questions: Trouble in Frog Enclosure. That leg does not look good at all and will probably need draining and antibiotics , good luck.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

As far as I know he is 2. He lives with a big eyed tree frog and a leopard frog. He is in a zoo med 18/18/24. He was very squirmy when I held him for the pictures. Can any one else tell me what it is and give a websites that list vets that would take him in st.Pete Florida. Or can anyone provide some quick advice on his cage or what I should keep him in for now. What about food and light. He won't eat as far as I know. Info he drinks spring water and scroll up for food. As I have said I am redoing the cage. Any suggestions????

Vet will cost money that I DO have but I don't want to spend a lot just to hear that treatment will cost $300. Which I DON'T have. So can any one tell me there bill or cost of treatment please!!!!!!

A vet is your best option. Explain to them that you are short on cash. My vet bills for a single tree frog is usually around $130, including the cost of medicine.
