I am not familiar with what bearded dragons eat, but I know that nightcrawlers are one of the best staple foods for frogs Not sure if that helps you any though. Hornworms are good, but they grow reeealy fast. I think you can put them in the fridge to slow their growth though. Silkworms are excellent feeders as well and don't seem to grow as fast. The only problem with these is they are expensive. They are for me anyway... But none of my frogs have ever turned down a hornworm I hope this helps! I know almost nothing about bearded dragons, so you might want to wait for someone more experienced to answer.

Worms for my beardie are pretty much treats as far as I know. Do you know if Phoenix worms are OK for tree frogs? I found a decent supplier (I think) and I was going to order a bunch of different worms just to see, but if she can/will eat them, then awesome, I will feed them to her. I could try night crawlers, I think petsmart sells them. I would just need to cut them up right? what size pieces should I cut them into? no bigger than her eye width, but I know they can be pretty chubby.

Yes, Phoenix worms are ok for tree frogs They have lots of calcium in them. As for the nightcrawlers, I would cut them to the length between her eyes, and if that is too big cut it again. I had to play around with cutting up worms so they were the right size for my pacman since some of them do get pretty fat!

Awesome, thank you so much for your advice! I've had Laputa for 2.5 months now and I feel like she is either tired of her normal wax worms and crickets so I figured since I wanted to get different worms for my beardie, I might as well see if she can eat them.

Also, I order my crickets in Bulk 500+ a week, and I usually get these little black worms (they clean poop from the crickets) are they safe to feed my frog too?

You are most welcome! I'm glad I could help! I am not sure about the black worms but I have wondered this myself. I got a box of crickets from the NARBC show last year and they were in there. It scared me until I heard other people had them with their crickets. I bet Lynn or one of the other moderators will know if they are safe.
