Default She is my largest so far.

Got her along with 3 others last year at my local reptile show, i am into Leachianus Lizard so got these because i have always loved them. She is my albino and is by far my largest girl so far, i built a rain chamber and will put her and my male SAMURAI BLUE and hope they breed. I will post pics of the rain chamber another time, anyhow here she is and this is on an empty belly and just coming out of hibernation.

that is one very good looking lady!
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Thank you everyone, just put the pair in the rain chamber and started the rains, i am letting it rain for about 20 minutes and then a 2 hour break then it starts again. I have yet to hear him calling, crossing my fingers. i will only do this for 4 days, if nothing happens then i will put them back in their own enclosures. I am using a samurai blue male with her, have no clue what you would call them if in fact i do get tadpoles....LOLOL!

You will get a spawn that looks close to this one. Genetics on frogs don't work the same as snakes

So at 3:35 in the AM i believe a small regular horned frog i have started croaking, i call it croak because it sounds deeper than what i have heard on the internet, low and behold one of my males started to call, his call sounded exactly like what i have i heard on the internet, now i need to figure out if it was my SAMURAI blue, or if it was my Strawberry which i thought was a second female, ooooh boy i am confused....lolololo

When natural breeding the more males the better. I use 8 males for 2 females when natural breeding.

Then it is safe to say that when using this method it is NOT really known who the dad is, unless caught in the act, and even then she could have bred with multiple males.....Interesting.

Yep. It could be any male. I use a different method and can breed in pairs. But very few know how to do it

I take it hormones then. One method I thought about was of grouping of the same kind for instance if working with samurai blue then just use 2.8 ratio but of course all samurai blue. Any how thanks for your input.

You can natural breed them in pairs. Just know black worms are going to run you about 10.00 a day

Thats not a problem, the problem is keeping the worms alive. If they can be put in the fridge im all for it, 10 bucks a day for worms will just slow my drinking down during the breeding season.......lolololo.

Freeze them. Once the tadpoles are over a week they will eat frozen blackworms. Ive had about 15 spawns since december and its fun seeing the color variations that im working with. Have a outlet to sell your babies and quick
