Hi there, new to this forum. I apologize in advance if this "solution" or problem has been posted somewhere already but I could not find a basic help or health section.
Hoping someone can give me some insight or point me in the right direction. We are currently raising some tadpoles (your basic frog and toad found in the northeast). We started them at the egg stage for our children and have been caring for them diligently and plan to release once developed. It's mainly for a learning experience.
That said, one of our frog tads who has just started developing his hind legs has one leg that is very very dark red and has what appears to be a bubble at the top portion of where the leg is developing. The other tad does not have this so I know it's not normal. I would like to know if there is anything that I may be able to do or is this just a very unfortunate act of nature and this tad is not developing properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can post a picture if it will help. I did take a few yesterday (but must wait until I am home this evening to post.)
Thank you so much for your help in advance. I want to try to do what I can for this little guy/gal.
Lisa
