Cleaning help needed (wood and cork)

bought some wood vines from dartfrog uk and cork bark from the store i work at, does this need cleaning ? and how ? should i use treated water ?

Probably a little late to answer but I soak new wook in declorinated water with a a small amount of bleach then allow it to air dry until the bleach smell is gone.

I usually boil them with untreated water or bake them. If you bring in sticks or anything else from outside, bake it. Bleaching rocks works well.
