    Default New PacMan Frog Owner

    Hi I just purchased my 1st Pac Man Frog today.. I'm not sure on how to tell how old, what species of pacman, or what sex it is... Here are a few pics - best I could get... Can someone, anyone please help!??     Hello and welcome to FF! Your frog looks more like a C. cranwelli to me. Can you provide a pic from side that shows the "horns" above eyes? Also, please read this article, it's has lots of good info: Frog Forum - Pacman and Horned Frogs - Ceratophrys - Care and Breeding . Good luck !
    Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !​

    As Carlos has stated the frog is a Ceratophys cranwelli. looks to be in good health, but you may want to place it on some Coconut Fiber substrate rather than gravel. It woukd be difficult to determine age since each individual grows at different rates. Could give a decent guess if we knew how big the frog was SVL(Snout to Vent Length).
