He looks rather lean, to be honest - I suspect he probably didn't get fed awfully regularly and that may explain why he has topped out at 6 inches. If you doubt he's male, I've never seen a female over 5 inches long, and never one with a male jaw like that.

John, I would never doubt you! I thought he was male when I first saw him, but after hearing his former owner call him a "she" for an hour, I began to doubt myself. I should just trust my instincts and what I've learned on FrogForum. She did say he came out of a hibernation faze....though she also kept him in a cold bathroom, which probably didn't help. I am going to work on getting him onto a regular feeding schedule with my other two. Maybe we can grow him a bit bigger if he has the right diet!

I have never put a video on YouTube before, but I might be able to get some shots of him eating. I only give one mice every couple of months, and never live. I've seen one seriously hurt a frog on another YouTube video and I would feel horrible if that happened to one of mine. When they do win the lottery and get a mouse treat, it is always frozen. However, Kadesh can slurp a good size worm with the best of them!! I will post more pics as I take them, I promise.

The only reason why I thought it was a female was because it lt looked like it had boogley eyes, but the over head shot made me think male.
