Been looking for a predominantly green Fantasy for a while now, and I finally lucked out! I hope he/she keeps some of the vibrancy when it reaches adulthood!
Very nice green color and patterns, Congratulations!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
I agree with Carlos! Very nice color!
so pretty and green, congrats!
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
great find, what a color,,,,congrats on that one,,,
...and it died this morning... Ugh! It just ate last night. temps are around 82 daytime 76 night, and himidity is between 75 and 80%... I dont know what went rong but this is the second baby fantasy Ive lot ithin 2 weeks of purchase![]()
I'm sorry for your frogs death. Can you describe your enclosure a bit and also include information on water, substrate, and frog food. Would recommend you do not buy more frogs until we try to figure out what is going on.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Enclosure was 5 gallon tank (was planning on relocating to 10 gallon when it got bigger(, water is treated with repti-safe water conditioner. substrate was coco fiber and food was small dusted crickets... I have two adulrts that have been in my care for 3 years and are doing just fine, I just seem to have the most unfortunate luck when it comes to raising the babiesso no, I dont plan on buying another any time soon
I don't believe their deaths are your fault. Sometimes they just die for no apparent reason.
I'm going to suggest from now on when you buy a baby that you use a smaller enclosure that is much easier to heat . Use a plastic medium critter keeper with a UTH for Hermit Crabs placed on the side. Much easier to heat and keep humidity up. Also makes it easier for them to catch their food.
When you are ready to try again please house them this way until they reach 3" then you can upgrade to a larger enclosure.
Im sorry for your loss.
