Default Clown tree frog eating habits

hi everyone. As you may or may not know I got clown tree frogs last saturday at a reptile show. To my knowledge they are nocturnal and all day I see them sleeoing. They can be kept at room temperature so I just keep a lamp at my desk pointed from far away just so I can see them, and at night I don't have any light for them. I always keep I few crickets in there, but I have never seen them eat any, mostly because I don't see them awake often, unless I wake them up. The crickets seem to be disappearing, but i am concerned about the behavior of these frogs. Maybe I should change their sleep cycle?

Sorry about the lack of comments.

I would make their day cycle shorter, and night longer. My Chorus frogs only ever come out at night to hunt, no matter what.

I used to date a woman who had red eyed tree frogs. Because she got up & went to bed early due to her job, she reversed the day night cycle on her frogs so she can watch them. She kepted the tank lights on at night & the tank was in a dim part of her apt.

I had a similar problem with my clown tree frogs, but I just switched to hydei fruit flies. And I feeds them about an hour or so after I turned out all the lights. They seem to catch the flies easier and the extra flies, in my tank at least, seemed to stay in the terrarium with the plants. I also made sure to dump the flies in the same spot each night, and soon my frogs would be waiting in that spot each night.
