Filter used for Axolotl ... Safe for ADF?

I am planning to set up my 10 gallon for ADF soon and I just realized you can not mix amphibians ... However my filter is fully cycled and has been being used for my axolotl's .... Is it safe to use the same filter for the ADF? The axolotl are going to be in a different tank but I know everyone has their own chemicals and secretions etc

You'll be fine using the same filter. As long as your axolotls have been healthy then your ADF will be fine.
Is the filter still currently running on a tank with stock or is it off/dried out/running on an empty tank? Bacteria die off very quickly with out a food supply (waste to break down).

its currently running on the axolotl tank. I am planning on using it to seed two sponge filters for the axies then leaving it set up and using it for the new tank

Thats great to know My axolotl have been very healthy.

I really appreciate it I was worried I would have to re-cycle the filter.
