Hi there! I would wanna know how does it work the Exo terra waterfall. I fill it with water and I guess it would work undefinitely. But if I turn on the fogger, it would last a determinated time, wouldn't ? The bizarre situation is that , when I turn on the fogger, the flow rises. If not, waterfall works slower.
So... as I don't understand anything o that, my question is, how does it work this waterfall
Hello Guilletto! From your description I'm guessing you have this model in medium or large: Exo Terra : Waterfall / Natural Waterfall. Water will evaporate so you will have to replace it. Adding the optional fogger will require closer monitoring because your water level will go down faster. Not sure what is your unit relationship between the Repti Flow 200 pump and the optional Fogger. According to manual they work as separate systems: http://www.exo-terra.com/download/pr...ion_Manual.pdf. Could it be that with fogger installed the output tube is smaller and that makes it look as a higher flow? Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
are you using the small, silver ultrasonic fogger? if so, since they work by vibrating a membrane, which in turns, does the same to the water, it creates a nice fountain of water which is difficult to control. that will drain any reservoir you put it into extremely quickly.
