Well, some of you have already read my other thread about my set up, upon research I've come across a vendor who will sell me two naturally coloured Xenopus Tropicalis and send it to my door for a mere £25. The only other frogs I have access to are albino Xenopus Laevis.
What should I go for?
assuming that I know how to care for both (I.e I don't need advice on how to keep them at the moment)
If it were my choice, I'd do the laevis as my "first". I am probably just partial to them though. However that is a great deal on the tropicalis. Sounds like you can always do the albinos later based on availability. Care being the same in terms of difficulty, I'd say get the tropicalis.

tropicalis are smaller so would do better in a smaller tank i suppose, i believe they require slightly warmer water than x. laevis too but not that much warmer, around 72-75F but don't quote me on that.
