was going to buy it and then the compact canopy seperate but they had the dual canopy on offer at half price
so are you going to make your own ABG becuase i cant find anywhere in the uk that sells it premade

neither can i, i'm going to make my own up, was wondering if mixing in some dartfroguk dendrosoil would be a good idea, bit worried about setting up a springtail culture and their dendrosoil comes with springtails and woodlice in
yeah i was thinking about the dendrosoil,but i think i will probably make my own aswell,i was hoping id be able to use the eco earth so it didnt go to waste,but that's life

you could always put it in a small 'quarantine' tank
im just going to get most of the things of ebay and do you know on the recipie that was posted a while back in the thread when it said peat moss did they mean sphagnum as i googled it and it just came up with sphagnum.
i meant i was just going to use the abg like you were![]()

did the same for me tbh, will continue to look, peat moss comes up brown earth but also spagnum peat moss

again, it'd be difficult for most of the guys to be able to recommend us any products, i can imagine our peat moss perhaps have chemicals etc added

after praise for seapets, they sent a courier with a 7.5ton truck to my cornwall home lol and also have missed off my canopy and 5.0 light and the paperwork says thats all to come, despite my order saying differently, oh dear
they did the same for me,the viv came at the begining of the week and the moss and reptivite came on the friday when they had it in stock

yeah, going to have to go get supplies over the next few days to get the design for the inside sorted, by time i'm finished and its dried etc it'll be pay day and time to get plants and substrate etc in, and then month or so bedding in the plants and if all is well, frog time. going to be reading none stop over the coming days
going to try and get mine sorted in the next few weeks then let the plants grow in then get the frogs in the summer
Try gardening stores. When it says peat moss for the recipe, there is milled (shredded) long fiber sphagnum peat moss, which is a light tan color and fluffy strands, commonly used in orchid growing, and then the plain peat moss you use in soil mixes, most brands in the US are organic (I don't know if you guys have OMRI in the UK, which means organic) except for Miracle Gro, which feels the need to add fertilizer to everything. I would search for some orchid growing supply stores, they will have the charcoal, long fiber sphagnum, fir bark, and possibly tree fern, while a regular gardening center will carry the peat moss.
