I have been feeding my tadpoles boiled lettuce that has been frozen and algae tablets. Are these the right thing to bee feeding the tadpoles? If so, are there any special way to conduct the feeding with these foods? So far I have no idea if they are eating the food or not, maybe they are blind. One good sign I have observed though is that they have been pooping. I don't know if they are just getting used to the new home because I have only had them for about two days now. The tadpoles have been swimming to the top and jumping out periodicly also. If anyone has anyone has any suggestions or answers please tell me.
Hi there
I keep a small colony of a few
hundred tadpoles and ive had the same problem before. Usually if they are pooping thats a
good sign and if the food is disappearing thats shouldsum it up. Maybe the tads arent use
to the food? i have a few aquatic plants i keep with them and they will eat those if they
dont eat the plants, they eat the lettuce. I would check to see what type of tads they are.
