i had an albino pacman frog a few years ago, our oil heater went overnight and the house dropped down to like 40-50 degrees F. he layed dormant for a few weeks without eating and i found him dead one day when i came home from school and work. i got one a few weeks ago, about the size of a quarter. another albino. i have him in a 20 gallon long tank. feeding calcium dusted crickets. the local pet stores dont carry night crawlers so i have to get out to the bait store for some to feed him. just wanted to share. i will post pictures of it. not sure if its a male or female yet. i was going to wait til it matured a little bit to try and sex it since i imagine juveniles are a little harder to sex

Welcome to the forum. Pacman frogs need to be kept warm, even at night. They do not tolerate temperatures much below 21 °C (70 °F). His not eating was not the cause of his death, but a symptom of a greater problem.

yeah he stopped eating because of the sudden temp drop from our oil heater breaking, he was fine before that and had no problem taking food. the current temp under the lamp fluctuates from 77-82ish, at night 72-75. hes really cool. i saw him eat a cricket that wandered by him last night. he was very quick, even for a little guy!
