I recently purchased a 3gallon tank and purchased my first betta! When I brought him home from the pet store he was mostly red. Two weeks later hes a beautiful red, turquoise, purple & blue half moon betta. He loves his tank mates an AFRICAN DWARF FROG and a small gold mystery snail. The african dwarf frog will frequently snooze on top of the snail! Lol.
Bettas and dwarf frogs live well together. The only concern is to watch during feeding to make sure the frog is getting enough food. These small frogs live along the bottom. You may want to use sinking food for the frogs and color-enhanced fish food for the Betta.

Thanks for your advice! I actually noticed that the frog wasnt getting enough food yesterday. My betta will not eat flake food. So I feed both the frog and batta thawed frozen blood worms.
Shouldn't be a problem. Just watch to make sure the frogs are getting enough food.
