I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Clown Tree Frogs because I'm thinking about getting one. What did you think of them? How similar are they to Red Eyes as far as care? Also, where did you get them? Thanks.
Hi there
I think that the care is somewhat similar. The best place i know
of to get clown tree frogs is LLLreptile and Kingsnake.com, but they
will most often be wild caught. the basic care sheet is below
Provide a 20 gallon (preferably high) for four to five frogs in a live planted terrarium, When
these tree frogs are startled, they will most likely hide under leaves or under something on
the forest floor, provide oak or magnolia leaves for substate cover (steralize before use)
keep them with high humidity 60-100% and keep at 75-82 degrees, adult frogs will eat
small crickets and can eat two to six crickets in one sitting.
