So how is this little guy able to grab his crickets?
You might consider feeding him in a bowl. ie clear glass - 3" sides- (like a pyrex type bowl)
Set it close to the back of the tank---------near where he can climb down and sit on the edge of the bowl.
Is that what I should do? Put one of those bowls in my tank and just stick the crickets in there? Will the crickets jump out or anything? He hasn't been moving, so I'm scared he won't even try and get to them.

Do you think it would be okay to get him a buddy to put in there with him?
