    Default Pacman lighting

Hi I have an exo terra 60x45x60 or something like that and an exo terra 2.0 15watt tube bulb which is on the outside of the terrarium so the mesh is in the way and it has a reflector on it. I dont use the light for giving him calcium just for light so i can see him. I was just wondering if this could blind him because people are saying that light blinds pacmans. He is not albino he is green.

I am worried that his eyes have already been damaged because when crickets go near him he blinks alot.

Really bright lights can hurt their eyes, but if the light isn't that bright then it should do no harm. He probably blinks a lot because he is startled by the crickets. How large are they?

I know our frogs are fed a staple of night crawlers and when given crickets, they are not happy with all the legs & antennae..........I find it hilarious, myself. You have to remember that this species are nocturnal predators, so lights may intimidate them and keep them dug in. We use either a blue or red light to watch our nocturnal critters......doesn't blind them or interfere with natural behavior and doesn't emit heat.
