Also, I have another question. Currently I use Reptivite with vitamin D3 to dust my feeder items. It does have calcium in it; do I need another separate calcium powder, or can I just use Reptivite to dust the crickets once a week?

I feed my green tree frogs 6-12 crickets every other day, and I just dump the crickets into the cage. I don't do anything to make sure they get an equal amount-if they're hungry, they eat, and if they aren't, they wait for the next feeding. You can just use Reptivite, and I don't thik you'll have any problems.

good info. a separate feeding bowl would be a great option. both your frogs get to eat and they get used to you feeding them this way. and in time they will catch on to the fact that is time to eat when you place them in a bowl. Now i am not sure how different species of frogs would take to this method but my pixie and my American bullfrogs seemed to do excellent with this.
