    Default Interesting discovery today

I have a frog that is missing most of it's toes from it's back right leg. JUST noticed this this evening while I gave him a soak. This one came from Petsmart a couple? of months ago -- thinking he/she was already 2 - 2.5" long. It gets around just fine, jumps, etc. Fairly good eater too. I *hope* I got this frog this way and it's not something that happened since I got it. Seems like I should have noticed earlier. Regardless, the foot looks fine, no sign of injury or redness.

He/she is now about 3.5" and I'm guessing it's a male, although it doesn't have nuptial pads yet. I know my other Petsmart frog (one of my first pacs), took a long time to really get noticeable nuptial pads, maybe at 6 - 7 months old. In comparison, my albino male and two of my fantasy frogs showed nuptial pads probably around 4 months old or so.

Here's a couple of pics I took tonight:

I love the rust coloring this little guy has and am happy I have him.

Edit: Looked back in my pictures and it looks like I got him mid-November so I've had him/her 3 months.
