heatmat + water dish

hi just had my heatmat delivered and was wondering does the heatmat need to be on the opposite side of tank from the water dish? also another quick question where do i put the sensor on my thermostat in the tank?

The heat mat should be affixed to the side of the tank rather than the underside. Pacman frogs like to burrow to escape heat and will burn themselves on the mat if it is on the bottom. If you put it near the water dish, it may help raise humidity, which is a good thing as long as it doesn't get too high.

ahh okay thanks i will put it on the same side as where the water dish is, where about does the sensor of the thermostat go?

It should go in the middle of the tank just above the substrate

It can be placed on any side of the tank, but it is best to place the heat mat on the opposite side from the watwr dish. This allows a gradient within the enclosure.
