But some info on them they you may or may not know. As tadpoles they are extremely toxic. If enough food does not exist they will cannibalize. Some references suggest that they are their own biggest competition in the wild, so keep an eye on them. They are a very sturdy toad probably the strongest living toad alive on earth. Most likely one of the reasons they are labeled on the 100 of the worlds most evasive species list. But as tadpoles they are very vulnerable. They are the easiest species i own even easier then the pixie and fire belly.

How big were they when you caught them?
And also how often do you come across tadpoles?
