Hi! I have just received the heat mat. The temperature of my vivarium is 21.9 C so I gotta increase it. However I don't know where to stick the eat mat. Theorically, in tree frogs I should stick it in a lateral, but my vivarium has poliuretane in both laterals. So, I could put it in the bottom.
My two dudes are:
1) Can I stick it in the bottom?
2) There is a lateral which not much poliuretane. If I put it there, a half of the mat wouldn't have anything behind the glass, and the other half would have poliuretane. would it be useful in this way?
Another thing relationated with last dude: waterfall would be near of heat mat. any problem with that?

Put the heat mat under the bottom. It should not be in the center, but off to either the right or the left to create a temperature gradient. Also, for tree frogs I would not recommend a heat mat. What works better is a heat lamp.
