Default Guess Midori is a boy after all! Noisy frogs are happy frogs?

Midori, my American green tree frog that snuck into my work on some tropical plants started "quacking" a few nights ago, sometimes he does it in the afternoon too, thankfully my husband thinks it is funny. I hope this means Midori is happy! He is doing really well, he eats like a champ and I even got to watch him hunt by flashlight one night.

Since he is doing so well I wonder if he would be happier with a friend. Not even sure if it would be safe to bring in another AGTF from a pet shop? Can he have a happy life as a single bachelor?

Yes Green tree frogs that call are unquestionably males, if you
do get him a tankmate, a ten gallon tank can hold two AGTFs
