    Thanks ^^ i have a couple 20 gals im growing plants in right now that i might be converting shortly into a split tank for frogs

    the tank is
    12 inch Length
    12 inch width
    15 inch high

    it is just under 10 gal

    ive drawn up the basic idea i have for a water dish and ive got most of it carved out at work just have to get the tubing and figure out what kind of grate or screen for the bottom of the pond im thinking somingthing plastic with holes in it like a kiddie pool would have anyways i digress

    I think the floor space is too small for a pacman frog they need a 10 gal long tank. You can probably put something that would use the space better like a small tree frog.

    The dimensions are just fine for an adult male or a small female. These frogs fo not need a lot of floor space. They will only use 1 or 2 areas to burrow in. They normally pick a favorite spot and stay there for days only moving after a bowel movement, to thermoregulate, or soak. I keep adult males in 12"x12"x18" terrariums and even a C. joazeirensis female in a tank of this size. They do just fine. Now for large females you want more floor space such as a 18"x18"x18" or a 10 gal long even a 20 gal long. To me a large female is 5" an up. Babies should always be kept in small enclosures until mature enough for a move to a larger enclosure.
