My first Tree Frog, Inconnu (French for unknown) hopped over the rainbow early this morning between 5 and 7 am. Late last night at midnight I saw that he was up and having a very hard time hopping (problem with his back legs, they wouldn't move right and he was very clumsy). So I separated him from the others. He seemed to of gotten a bit brighter/better off when he was alone then fell into his eternal sleep.

Things in Frogland haven't been peachy as of late, in February a dog was abandoned on me and the dog took so much time and $ from me, I had to slip on the food in February (got a small baggie of about 100 crickets) and again in March had to do the same. Although my frogs are still lively they're not as plump as they were in January. I gave away the dog and lol-and-behold the original owner popped up (in my state if an animal is abandoned after a week the person that has the dog is now considered the new owner, I had the dog for new 3 weeks). The original owner has made so many problems, taken me to court over the $125 crate (got beat after I showed that I still had the crate and after I had showed photos of the dog who was 10-15 pounds underweight when he was dropped on me) then started harassing me over emails from March the 3rd to Monday of this week. I've been so stressed over this situation it is not funny! I counter-sued the man for 1. harassment, 2. animal endangerment and neglect (dog was thin) and 3. destruction of private property (torn screen on front window, torn up vinyl in front of door and torn up carpet in the hallway). Although I won that case I lost the battle with some of my pets who, during the whole ordeal, were having a hard time. 1 Sandfish Skink passed away, another is thin and won't eat, looks like he won't make it, 2. frogs not at plump as they use to be, lost one last night and 3. my dog has NEVER been the same. Scared of everything now, very nervous acting, won't go in 1 of the bedrooms and is now having 'guard-dog' actions (everyone and everything she sees out the front window she now barks and growls at) which she NEVER had before the dog was dropped on me. She is still sweet, yes, but the other actions have me very worried!

I'm hoping that next month is better and all my pets can get back to their normal routines and that things will be peaceful again.

RIP Inconnu! You will be very missed!
