1X a month is perfect for rodent-feeding schedule.
And your boy probably won't get as large as the other pixies here. He looks to be a dwarf frog, which is a subspecies from Tanzania (please someone correct me if I'm off! lol). He wont get as big, but his lovely pattern will stick around for life

Nice male Edulis. Keep in mind that every frog is different and some do not reach their full potential. Average size for Edulis is 5" to 6".

Well for the record, I purchased him a year ago from Backwater. I read alot of negative things about them. As of today, "sam" told me by E-mail he is a P. Adspersus. And that he is large for 9 months, surprisingly large. And that I should keep doing whatever I am doing because he looks great and will continue to grow. Is that true or BS? I know he looks good, but Im talking about growth. This is also coming from a company that has no phone number, which I find very unprofessional.

Sounds like complete BS to me. A male adspersus of your frogs age would be MUCH larger.

I ordered my first Pixie about a year ago from BackwaterReptiles, and I got ripped off as well. I e-mailed Sam and told him it was the dwarf species he'd sent me, even sent several pics and links of giant vs. dwarf to show it was truly a dwarf. He gave me a major line of BS, too, saying it was 100% adspersus like it said on the website. He said it was wild caught (not mentioned on the site either) from Mozambique. He refused a refund or to take the frog back. This guy is a drop shipper who doesn't know a thing about what he actually sells. The frog I ordered was a male giant, and what arrived was a female dwarf that only grew to just under 4" in total. At least yours is male, so it will get a bit bigger than mine did. But still, it can be disappointing to have your heart and wallet set on one thing and you end up getting another.
