Hey guys after much disappointment from www.floridaherps.com I received my order from www.joshsfrogs.com after a few of you recommended them. let me tell you it's night and day.
B.T.W the dark frog is now bright green now.

Yahh!!! Told you they have a great reputation!!! Im very happy for you!!!! Hows your quarantined one?
The quarantined fro still hasn't eat since he arrived here, I'm about to e-mail the Dr. with photos and see what he recommends.
BTW, Does the computer light affect them? It's 10:10 P.M and they are still sleeping, maybe jet lag. lol

AS FAR AS A NEW PLACE>..it may bother him/her. It does NOT bother my 14 RETF's. I have a lights out policy in my house though...even with my guests...they are not allowed to turn the lights on after sunset at all... NOT EVEN CANDLELIGHT.... ill allow cell phones and laptops... However mine are very active right now since its breeding season their hormones probably are stronger than their sensitivity to light... 28 tadpoles... 94 eggs.... and still 3 mating pairs...haha. I really hope your treating the wound with Neosporin (NOT PAIN RELIEF) the regular kind. Pain relief neosporin is toxic to the froggy... Or you can go with what VETs recommend and get Vetrimycin which is a spray on disinfectant... for wounds.
Wow, That's a lot of frogs you'll have in a few months. I put Neosporin on him earlier today, should I put Neosporin on the neon patches as well?

do you mean the coloration change on the back? No..thats just the frog giving you a sign that he is ill..that not an infected area...however if i remember correctly he had red spots on his belly....anywhere RED or PINK is a sign of an infection and i would place it there.
Last night I've seen frog 1 do something weird, it crawled to the closest leaf to the food bowl then started shaking his booty. Then before I went to bed I seen him sleeping in the food bowl.
(does the booty shaking prove he is male?)
I still can't tell which frog is which but I know that frog 1 doesn't mind the moonlight and frog 2 won't wake up until it is pitch black.
I know frog 2 is active cause he always sleeps somewhere else when I check on them in the morning.

Negative...Females do "LEAF SHAKING AS WELL" The other one is probably just a late sleeper keep the routine up with the moonlight... they will adjust to it.

I bought a female about a month ago...she leaf shook any time a male would approach her... she wanted to be left alone i guess.... she just did it 2 nights ago as well... Its MUCH more common in the males though.
Hmmm, the other frog was asleep at the time opposite side of the viv. I was using a red led light focused on him / her while it happened.
Was he /her trying to intimidate me? lol
Btw one of the frogs enjoy playing in the substrate, always have substrate in the water bowl and all over the frog in the morning.
The other frog is always clean.

Nothing to worry about =) How big is your water dish?
about an 8" diameter. I keep it really shallow
![United States [United States]](images/flags/United States.gif)
Shallow? you dont need to worry about your red eye tree frog drowning...they swim ok. you can put an 1-2 inches of water you will be ok. I have a half vivarium/ rain chamber with 6 inches of water.... they bath sometimes
I think I overestimated on the bowl, its more around 6", I'll add more water.

You mist them right? 1-2 times a day?
I have a ultra sonic humidifier, should I still mist them with a water bottle?

Humidifier will keep it moist.. id say your ok...but its good to simulate rain. =)
ok, i'll mist with a spray bottle also.
