Vetericyn is mainly used as a pre-treatment to the vet. It may even help you not make a visit to the vet as well. Ive personally used the eye drops for fungus in the eye and ive also used it for PROLAPSE in frogs...other than that nothing. But it will speak for itself.. IT doesnt hurt to try it out =) So far 100% success rate with no vet visits for any herp. =) Its the only emergency first aid med i keep. Havnt had the need to go to a vet yet.
Finally, after 3 days and getting bigger sized crickets they ate. I'm not sure if it is because the crickets was to small and they didn't find interest of them or they are getting use to the environment.
However, they are not as active as R.E.T.F I've seen on youtube videos, hopefully in a week or two they'll be more active.
It sounds like they are just adjusting to their new home. Glad they are for you.

I just got home from class tonight and I was able to see the smallest frog of the two hunt for the very first time. I think he/she just made a habit of pooping in the food dish because I just watched him poop. I've also found poop in the food dish the other day. I think this frog has become comfortable with it's viv being that he's the only one that wakes up at night.
The bigger frog is always asleep even till now. I know he moves around when I go to bed because I find substrate on his back and legs in the morning.
Update:: I checked on him and caught him with a cricket in his mouth.
Both are eating so i'm happy.
Hope you guys don't mind, i'm using this to document my frogs. =)

Almost all of my amphibians, my Green frog, my Chorus frogs, even my long toed salamanders, will not hunt at day, my juvenile bullfrog being the exception and even she will only rarely hunt during the daytime. My salamanders remain in their burrows, my bullfrog and green frog rest in cover, and my Chorus frogs rest on the leaves or ground, hidden from view.
However, nighttime is like a whole different world. My green frog is usually swimming around in the evening, hunting crickets, as is my bullfrog, and my salamanders poke their heads out of their burrows, and then crawl up to sit in the water dish before hunting small crickets. Around 10:00 PM, my Chorus frogs will begin wandering around their tank, and will do it occasionally until 3:00 AM. It is then they really live up to the Chorus part of their name. It's great to hear, except if you are trying to get some sleep!
My Amphibians:
1.0.0 Rana Catesbiana (Bumpy Digtoad )
1.0.0 Pseudacris Regilla (Levi )
1.1.0 Ambystoma Macrodactylum (Urtham and Gargan )
2.2.0 Bombina Orientalis ( Rosa, Sasha, Aleksis, and Dimitri )
Rest in Peace, Gnag the Nameless, Chrome, and Thermidor
This is great news! I hope they continue to hunt for you.

Question about baby / juvenile and adult r.e.t.f, are the adults more active than the baby / juvenile? and when can you consider a r.e.t.f an adult?

activity should not differeciate between age groups. Also they are adults when they become sexually mature 1-1.5 years of age.
I have a question about one of my frogs after noticing a bump on his top left side of his body, i'm just wondering if it's normal?

I'm having trouble seeing it?

if you are talking about those raised white spots yes its normal.. but i dont see any "BUMPS" outside of that
Do they look like these?
The white raised spots are like froggie birthmarks or freckles, so-to-speak and they are fine.
A clearer photo would be very helpful.

nice frog, the bump I was worried about went away.
Thanks. Was the bump a rounded area on his right belly side?

It was on his left belly side, i'm assuming it was a cricket that he ate.
I added a waterfall yesterday so the frogs can enjoy continuously running water. However, one of these guys decided to soak then immediately go to the food bowl and eat. The bad thing about this is that he completely drenched the food bowl which resulted in 4 dead crickets.

HAHAHA... well it is what it is =P
Here is the most active of the group. He is up and about the moment the sun goes down.
Does flash affect their eyes at all? I don't want to blind them.
Hello, I was wondering if this frog looks normal. I've noticed that he has become really big and I havn't seen as much poop as before.
The other frog is slender compared to him/her

Some enjoy eating more than others. It's a but hard to tell at that angle with his belly squooshed on the vine. From what I can see from there, he looks fine. Do you have another recent photo of each of them?
