other Red Eye colorations

Gena read this and corrected me. She no longer wants to mix different types of animals. Wants to mix tree frogs. She argues that the RETF and Glass Tree Frog are from the same region and close in size.

We are still looking for other colored Red Eyes.

if you want to mix, why not go with red eyes, black eyes, albinos, ect.

as far as the glass frogs, i would do a bunch of research on that. even though they are from the same region, they may have different care requirements. also, good luck finding them....lol

Three------ A callidryas - red eyed tree frog 'morphs' (forms of the species ) --that can be mixed are:
-regular red eyeds
-albino red eyeds
-xanthic red eyeds ( looks likes an albino but the eyes remain silver into adulthood/ rather than turning red )
These are difficult to find !

Verb, your story is the reason I hesitate to order a frog. It's heart breaking. I want to stick to personal transports or maybe reptile conventions (Chicago)

Lynn, Thanks for the info on Rainforest Junkys. poking around their site I found they are working on a Black bodied morph of Red Eyes.

I'll be sure to update with what I find.
