Welcome fellow Chicagoan! There is a shop in Lincolnwood it's called The Animal Store. I've never been there but hey get good reviews on Yelp and they have a facebook page. Also, if you are looking for a reptile vet in Chicago I recommend Animal House of Chicago, they are on Lawrence and California. They are the only place that I found in the actual city that treats frogs and they are very good and nice.

You will find TONS of helpful information here on the forum, everyone here cares about frogs and knows what they are talking about.
