Where's my frog?

Today i peer in on my 3 little guys and noticed one of them running for cover. 2 out of 3 never duck and cover but the third has been a little scarce lately. I look in a bit closer to find more than 5 tads on his back. Thats all I could count before he hid behind an overgrown fern. Looks like I finished my new enclosure with barely any time to spare. Meanwhile the other male is inside a brom, calling like a maniac and the female is definitely interested. I wish I had gotten a pic of the male carrying the tads but he's very skittish at the moment. I'm content to leave him to his activity. I have my tadpole rearing setup ready to go.

The male dart is probably trying to find a shallow body of water (in a bromeliad or any other plant) and that may be the reason why he's so secretive (my guess, not a definate answer). Very interesting! and btw what type of dart is that guy, ive just forgotten his name.

They're Epipedobates Anthonyi "Santa Isabel". He was definitely looking for the pond n the viv. He would hop over sit in it for a bit then hop out after a random FF or he'd see me and hide. I've noticed they're much more defensive when guarding tads.
