Bloated frogs ...

I think I may be just being paranoid ... but here's a picture of one of the frogs ... pic on left is last night after substrate change (from foam); pic on right was taken a few minutes ago. He IS bloated a bit, but does it look like it got worse from last night?

They're fine. They will puff up during the day to absorb more moisture from the substrate and assist in cooling down. How warm are you keeping them?

Give them a warm soak and they will most likely pee and return to normal. They don't do this on foam substrate.

I thought I was being paranoid ... thanks for the reassurance they are fine. Their temp on the warm side is right at 80 degrees, and that is where most of them are (on the warm side).

You have nothing to worry about.

Whenever Trevor is looking puffy enough for me to get paranoid I just sit her in her water dish. She usually just pees, goes back to normal size, and glares at me for a few minutes.
