HELP! Gold tree frog sick?

My frog, Bogey, has swelling in his abdomen and his limbs are stiff. I've looked online and so far edema sounds like what's wrong. If it is edema, is there a cure?

From what I have read there are two types of edema, one due to a bacterial infection and the other from kidney failure...yikes. If it is bacterial you are to soak your frog in clean spring water for awhile and make sure everything he has touched is cleaned thoroughly paying special attention to changing his water completely. I guess if this is done soon enough there is a chance it will be ok. If it is the other kind I am afraid it can be fatal.
