    Question Eco Earth ALternatives

Hello! I am really not liking the eco earth that im putting in my frog's tank. Im worried about them ingesting it as they eat bugs and it is messy. Ive tried keeping it dry, keeping it wet, keeping it really wet, patting it down, and it just seems to get everywhere anyways. It also seems to annoy my frogs.

Does anyone know of any alternatives for me?

Covering the substrate with leaf litter will help keep it from getting everywhere.

You can also cover it with sheet moss. As far as them ingesting cocofiber, no need to worry about it. They can pass it without a problem. Hence the reason we use it

    Leaves sound doable.

Sheet moss sounds great, but how would I clean that? I mean, im supposed to clean the tank and the sticks and things once a week so that there isn't a buildup of frog poo right?

Add springtails and/or isopods and they will take care of the frog poo. You'll need the same if you use leaf litter as well.

If I get those bugs, will that mean that I don't have to clean the tank out every week? Because that would be an awesome time saver and my frogs really don't like the stress of the transfer as I clean their home.
