What is this??

Can someone tell me what this is? I'm a pretty new FBT owner and the other night I put one of my toads in this container while I cleaned the tank. When I went to put the toad into the cleaned tank I noticed a translucent white blob thing with tiny black spots on it. The two tan pebbles probably came off of the toad--I've recently taken out these small pebbles after reading how dangerous gravel can be to FBTs, so disregard those. Anyways, what is this white goo with black spots? I'm guessing skin but I want to know for sure.
